I am a graduate of the University of Warwick (LL.M) and Queen Mary & Westfield College, University of London (LL.M Banking and Finance Law).

After a short stint as a legal trainee in Kenya, I moved to a business development role at engineering giant Wartsila EA, generating business and liaising with clients in French-speaking East African countries.

I then made another career change, moving on to the BBC in Kenya where I took on various roles in radio journalism, media monitoring and news analysis, editorial training and team management over a period of 14 years. It is here that I honed my skills as an editor, writer and creator of content.

The common thread throughout my career has been the love of language and words and their power. In short, communication.

Words have the power to influence, whether published in a blog or social media  post, newspaper or news article or spoken during a video or media appearance.

Through J Communications I seek to harness that power to promote brands and develop strong writers.
